Privacy Policy
We make personalised storybooks for kids — delivered as a print-ready digital PDF, with an optional printed storybook. To do that, you give us a photo of your child, your contact info, and (for printed orders) your delivery address. We treat that data like it belongs to your family — because it does. This page explains exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it.
1. What we collect
When you place an order, we collect:
- The child's name and a photo. Used to personalise the book and nothing else.
- Your name, email, phone, and shipping address. Used to deliver the book and email you about your order.
- Your payment method choice (Whish or OMT). We do not see or store the actual transaction — payment happens in your provider's app.
- Basic site analytics via Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel (pages visited, what you clicked) so we can improve the site and measure advertising. No personally identifying details are tied to these events.
2. How we use it
- The photo goes into our face-swap pipeline (currently fal.ai) to render your child as the hero of the book. It is processed once, the personalised pages are generated, and the original photo is held privately until the order is delivered.
- Email is used to send you the order confirmation, payment instructions, and (for digital orders) the finished PDF. We never send marketing email without your explicit opt-in.
- Phone is kept on file so we can WhatsApp you about delivery if needed.
- Address is used only by our delivery partner to ship the book.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small set of trusted third-party services to actually run the business. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — order database + photo storage (hosted in EU)
- Vercel — website hosting
- fal.ai — the face-swap engine; the photo is sent for processing only
- Resend — sends our transactional emails
- Google Analytics 4 & Meta Pixel — anonymous site analytics + ad attribution
We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
4. How long we keep it
- Photo: kept while the order is in flight, deleted within 90 days of delivery unless you ask us to keep it (e.g. you ordered a printed version and might want a digital reprint later).
- Order record (name, email, phone, address, order details): kept for 7 years for accounting purposes, as Lebanese law requires for business records.
- Generated book files: kept for 90 days so you can re-download if you lose the email.
5. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what we have on file about your orders
- Delete your photo immediately (we'll keep the order record for the accounting period above)
- Correct any information that's wrong
- Stop receiving any communication from us

6. Children
The books are for children, but the buyer is always a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect any data from people under 18 directly. If you're a parent and you'd like a child's photo removed from our systems before the standard retention period above, just email us.
7. Cookies
The site uses a small number of essential cookies (to remember your shopping session and login state) and analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If you've placed an order with us, we'll also email you so you have a chance to review.
